Indexing columns using the Spanish word breaker

The SQL FTI Wizard word breaker drop down box does not include the word breaker for the Spanish language.

You need to use TSQL commands to do this.

Here is an example for the au_lname column of the authors table in the pubs database using the Spanish word breaker.

exec sp_fulltext_table 'authors', 'create', 'CatalogName', 'index_1977058079'

go

exec sp_fulltext_column 'authors', 'au_lname', 'add', 3082

go

exec sp_fulltext_table 'authors', 'activate'

go
